"Steve” is part of Nicks new racing Hammers series - Before Nick was a fine artist his painting career actually started with painting racing helmets for Motorsport riders and drivers such as Luke Mossy , Nick Padmore and even TV's Will Buxton . Mixing the ancient lines of one of natures apex predators , the Great Hammerhead shark,  with the ultra modern technology of Motorsport . These pieces are a beautiful way to show your love of  nature and motorsport. 
 
This piece is cast from solid resin , it is then given hours of finishing , sanding and preperartion before being hand painted in tribute to one of the most iconic racing cars in history - the Porsche 917 from Steve Mc Queens Le Mans film . 
Finished in a satin effect to further add to the retro racing look .
