Like a lot of people Jaws had a a big effect on my childhood - every piece of water suddenly had a shark !  But it also soaked my fascination with them and is ultimately what led to much of my artistic career being focused on these amazing creatures . It’s wildly known that at the time of the movie the artist that painted the original poster only had access to a mako shark for reference so the shark featured in it was a more mako than great white. My take on the piece changes the mako to a great white so more closely resembles the famous shark . 
Painted on aluminium with both my ground metal and waterline resin effects combined with partial matte varnish - this piece looks amazing in the light .
